Such a modern and beautiful hotel. so secure, had to scan the keycard to get in the building, felt safe and comfortable. the hotel rooms were sound proof, i would 100% stay again and cannot wait too. The hotel is in the city centre, was incredible for shopping and our night out

This hotel has a strong hipster, literary and artistic style, which is exactly what I love. In addition, it is located in the center of Manchester, very close to many attractions, restaurants and bars, very convenient!

We didn’t know how to turn off the mirror light in the bathroom so had to leave it on all night which slightly disturbed our sleep

We stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday and after telling the hotel they arranged balloons for the room and upgraded us so we had a great view of the city. The studio was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay.

Enjoyed the Location but too cramped to enjoy facilities.

Like the idea of apartment but it was really cramped facilities.

It was a very cramped room for 3 adults. This is what I booked for and was advertised as this would be appropriate but didn’t seem that way once in the apartment. Wouldn’t book again.

The smeg kettle, coffee pods, decent size fridge, milk bottles, bottled water, crisp white towels, 4 rolls of toilet paper, very clean & tidy apartment, very impressed

Best alternative to hotel room in the city, well worth paying extra

The studios are a great alternative to a standard hotel room with everything you need for a short stay in the city center. Well worth the extra money paid! Stylish and modern with some of the most comfortable beds available! The beds are seriously good! And I recommend anybody to try a studio just for the nights sleep alone! Truly lovely! Another bonus are the rainfall showers which are amazing and a real treat to come back to in the evening, especially if you've been working or had a hard day! Little details like the coffee machine and well stocked nespresso pods, fully stocked cupboards with all you need to cook also make the stay so much more enjoyable and show thought has gone into making your stay as best as possible. I've also had some pretty good views of the city facing towards the south. Ample space for a very comfortable couple of nights stay and easily beats your standard hotel room any day of the week. Feels more like a home from home instead of an impersonal box hotel room. Great WiFi coverage too without needless connection difficulties or silly portals. Washing facilities a bonus for clothing and contactless payment avoids the tokenized drama that ensues attempting to swap currency for little donut shaped coins. You don't have to pay for drying either which saves money. The place is a central location for all things Manchester city center and so everyone coming to Manchester for whatever reason couldn't be in a better spot. Excellent transport links all around, tram being right outside. Shopping, venues/events, work, nights out, travel - couldn't get anymore central!

I didn't like that the place doesn't have a full menu for food. It would be great if they did a full menu and had a restaurant or something similar as it would make the option of having a meal + drink while you're staying a great bonus alongside the capabilities in the studios. The menu is lacking and the pantry is too and also expensive. Paid over the odds for some crisps. I'm not sure how they benefit from removing the staple of the hotel experience - the restaurant/bar. It would have been great to spend some time out of the studios and enjoying what the place has to offer but outside the studios there's very little in the way of that. I'm also not a fan of the way checking in and out works, its casual which is great and encourages a more informal feel but not a fan of the concept. If there was a dedicated reception like there are in most hotels support would feel more accessible instead there is a WhatsApp group which might not appeal to all guests and assume they even want or use WhatsApp, and informal reception area that doubles as a lobby area which takes the normal hotel experience and unnecessarily changes it. I see this brand is playing with the hotel experience which I totally get but some things don't need changing that aren't broken and there's nothing wrong with the good old fashioned reception desk area at the hotel where your experience starts and ends. It feels like they have tried to skim off as much of the hotel experience as possible which to me kind of leaves the whole experience missing the character and touch that comes from the "traditional" experience. It feels very clinical. The fire alarm also went off during my stay at 4am which resulted in the whole building including Motel One on the lower level being evacuated onto the street. There was no communication from any staff throughout the ordeal and guests were left to work things out for themselves.

Room was excellent. No complaints to be made. Lovely modern room with all the facilities you would need for a few days away. Room was a good size and the kitchen area was in good condition. Great city centre location. Will definitely be back when next in Manchester

Really nice hotel

Very clean, very comfortable, nice staff, very central and accessible - literary 30 seconds to the tram station with lots of restaurants around. 5 minutes to the Palace Theatre. Thoroughly enjoyed staying.

Minor details like no face tissue and kitchen sponge. The fire alarm went off at 4am and the hotel was evacuated. No information whatsoever about what happened and safety.

I will try and stay here again when I next stay in Manchester.

Location, staff, cleanliness and little extras like complimentary water, Nespresso and milk. I accidentally left a device behind and was delighted that it has been found by housekeeping staff.

You could hear guests in other rooms.

Everything was great. Central location, compact but has everything you could need, high-quality fixtures and fittings, comfy bed, amazing value.

Because you can't open the window, there was a slight musty smell in the room when we entered, but it's fine once you put the air-conditioning on

Was very clean and bed was very comfortable Great view and in the centre Was easy to get to

Fire alarm went of at 3:30AM ish and being on the 10th floor My partner had a operation on his foot and had to walk down the stairs and also stepped on glass, to find out the alarm was a “ fault in the system” and we got given a free coke, don’t really think this was acceptable but there was no staff either outside to ask what was happening I understand things happen but a free coke to say sorry just seem a bit funny Overall the place was lovely

Highly recommended

Brilliant location, stunning view over the city. Very clean and comfortable Lovely little extras in the room - milk and water in fridge, yummy chocolate bars and great toiletries.

Only 1 lift working on last day of stay, quite annoying as we were on the 18th floor. Bathroom a bit cramped.
